Dr. Jenna Maria Constantine, Founder and Owner of KaplaniKid Productions, has established the “Mr. Gus” D. Gliarmis Social Justice Memorial Scholarship, in honor and memory of her beloved Greek immigrant Παππού (Grandfather), Konstantinos Demetrios Gliarmis, a “social justice warrior” and Owner of the Star Cafe on Barnes Street in Wilson, North Carolina.
The “Mr. Gus” D. Gliarmis Social Justice Memorial Scholarship is holding an Essay Contest and is accepting applications through March 17th, 2023. Please see details in flyer below.
The Essay Contest for the “Mr. Gus” D. Gliarmis Social Justice Memorial Scholarship is open to all Wilson County high school students who qualify, are graduating in 2023, plan to attend a 4-year college or university and have a passion for social justice.
